KG	A hitetlenek, Uram, meddig még, meddig örvendeznek még a hitetlenek?
AS	Jehovah, how long shall the wicked, How long shall the wicked triumph?

KG	Piszkolódnak, keményen szólnak; kérkednek mindnyájan a hamisság cselekedői.
AS	They prate, they speak arrogantly: All the workers of iniquity boast themselves.
KJV	How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?

KG	A te népedet Uram tapossák, és nyomorgatják a te örökségedet.
AS	They break in pieces thy people, O Jehovah, And afflict thy heritage.

KG	Az özvegyet és jövevényt megölik, az árvákat is fojtogatják.
AS	They slay the widow and the sojourner, And murder the fatherless.

KG	És ezt mondják: Nem látja az Úr, és nem veszi észre a Jákób Istene!
AS	And they say, Jehovah will not see, Neither will the God of Jacob consider.

KG	Eszméljetek ti bolondok a nép között! És ti balgatagok, mikor tértek eszetekre?
AS	Consider, ye brutish among the people; And ye fools, when will ye be wise?

KG	Aki a fület plántálta, avagy nem hall-é? És aki a szemet formálta, avagy nem lát-é?

KG	Aki megfeddi a népeket, avagy nem fenyít-é meg? Ő, aki az embert tudományra tanítja:

KG	Az Úr tudja az embernek gondolatjait, hogy azok hiábavalók.

KG	Boldog ember az, akit te megfeddesz Uram, és akit megtanítasz a te törvényedre;
AS	Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O Jehovah, And teachest out of thy law;

KG	Hogy nyugalmat adj annak a veszedelem napján, míg megásták a vermet a hitetlennek!

KG	Bizony nem veti el az Úr az ő népét, és el nem hagyja az ő örökségét!

KG	Mert igazságra fordul vissza az ítélet, és utána mennek mind az igazszívűek.

KG	Kicsoda támad fel én mellettem a gonoszok ellen? Kicsoda áll mellém a hamisság cselekedők ellen?

KG	Van-é köze te hozzád a hamisság székének, amely nyomorúságot szerez törvény színe alatt?
AS	Shall the throne of wickedness have fellowship with thee, Which frameth mischief by statute?

KG	Egybegyülekeznek az igaznak lelke ellen, és elkárhoztatják az ártatlannak vérét.
