KG	Mert sátor építtetett, az első, amelyben vala a gyertyatartó, meg az asztal és a kenyerek felrakása; ezt nevezték szenthelynek.
AS	For there was a tabernacle prepared, the first, wherein `were' the candlestick, and the table, and the showbread; which is called the Holy place.

KG	A második kárpiton túl pedig az a sátor, melyet neveztek szentek szentének,

AS	having a golden altar of incense, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein `was' a golden pot holding the manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;

KG	Fölötte pedig a dicsőség kérubjai, beárnyékolva a fedelet, amikről most nem szükséges külön szólani.
AS	and above it cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy-seat; of which things we cannot now speak severally.

KG	Ezek pedig ekképpen levén elrendezve; az első sátorba ugyan mindenkor bejárnak a papok az istentisztelet elvégzésére,
AS	Now these things having been thus prepared, the priests go in continually into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the services;

KG	A másodikba azonban egy-egy évben egyszer csak maga a főpap, vérrel, melyet magáért és a nép bűneiért áldoz.

KG	Azt jelentvén ki ezzel a Szent Lélek, hogy még nem nyilt meg a szentély útja, fennállván még az első sátor.
AS	the Holy Spirit this signifying, that the way into the holy place hath not yet been made manifest, while the first tabernacle is yet standing;

KG	Ami példázat a jelenkori időre, mikor áldoznak oly ajándékokkal és áldozatokkal, melyek nem képesek lelkiismeret szerint tökéletessé tenni a szolgálattevőt,
AS	which `is' a figure for the time present; according to which are offered both gifts and sacrifices that cannot, as touching the conscience, make the worshipper perfect,
KJV	Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;

KG	Csakis ételekkel meg italokkal és különböző mosakodásokkal – melyek testi rendszabályok – a megjobbulás idejéig kötelezők.
AS	`being' only (with meats and drinks and divers washings) carnal ordinances, imposed until a time of reformation.
KJV	Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.

KG	Krisztus pedig megjelenvén, mint a jövendő javaknak főpapja, a nagyobb és tökéletesebb, nem kézzel csinált, azaz nem e világból való sátoron keresztül,

KG	És nem bakok és tulkok vére által, hanem az ő tulajdon vére által ment be egyszer s mindenkorra a szentélybe, örök váltságot szerezve.

KG	Mert ha a bakoknak és bikáknak a vére, meg a tehén hamva, a tisztátalanokra hintetvén, megszentel a testnek tisztaságára:
AS	For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling them that have been defiled, sanctify unto the cleanness of the flesh:
KJV	For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:

KG	Mennyivel inkább Krisztusnak a vére, aki örökké való Lélek által önmagát áldozta fel ártatlanul Istennek: megtisztítja a ti lelkiismereteteket a holt cselekedetektől, hogy szolgáljatok az élő Istennek.
AS	how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish unto God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

KG	És ezért új szövetségnek a közbenjárója ő, hogy meghalván az első szövetségbeli bűnök váltságáért, a hivatottak elnyerjék az örökkévaló örökségnek ígéretét.
AS	And for this cause he is the mediator of a new covenant, that a death having taken place for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, they that have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
KJV	And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

KG	Mert ahol végrendelet van, szükséges, hogy a végrendelkező halála bekövetkezzék.
AS	For where a testament is, there must of necessity be the death of him that made it.

KG	Mivel a végrendelet holtak után jogerős, különben pedig, ha él a végrendelkező, épen nem érvényes.
AS	For a testament is of force where there hath been death: for it doth never avail while he that made it liveth.

KG	Innét van, hogy az első sem szenteltetett meg vér nélkül.
AS	Wherefore even the first `covenant' hath not been dedicated without blood.

KG	Mert mikor Mózes a törvény szerint minden parancsolatot elmondott az egész népnek, vevén a borjúknak és a bakoknak vérét, vízzel és vörös gyapjúval meg izsóppal együtt, magát a könyvet is és az egész népet meghintette,
AS	For when every commandment had been spoken by Moses unto all the people according to the law, he took the blood of the calves and the goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people,

KG	Mondván: Ez azon szövetség vére, amelyet Isten számotokra rendelt.
AS	saying, This is the blood of the covenant which God commanded to you-ward.
KJV	Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.

KG	Majd a sátort is és az istentiszteletre való összes edényeket hasonlóképpen meghintette vérrel.
AS	Moreover the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry he sprinkled in like manner with the blood.

KG	És csaknem minden vérrel tisztíttatik meg a törvény szerint, és vérontás nélkül nincsen bűnbocsánat.
AS	And according to the law, I may almost say, all things are cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.

KG	Annakokáért szükséges, hogy a mennyei dolgoknak ábrázolatai effélékkel tisztíttassanak meg, magok a mennyei dolgok azonban ezeknél különb áldozatokkal.
AS	It was necessary therefore that the copies of the things in the heavens should be cleansed with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.

KG	Mert nem kézzel csinált szentélybe, az igazinak csak másolatába ment be Krisztus, hanem magába a mennybe, hogy most Isten színe előtt megjelenjék érettünk.
AS	For Christ entered not into a holy place made with hands, like in pattern to the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear before the face of God for us:

KG	Nem is, hogy sokszor adja magát áldozatul, mint ahogy a főpap évenként bemegy a szentélybe idegen vérrel;
AS	nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place year by year with blood not his own;
KJV	Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;

KG	Mert különben sokszor kellett volna szenvednie a világ teremtetése óta; így pedig csak egyszer jelent meg az időknek végén, hogy áldozatával eltörölje a bűnt.
AS	else must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once at the end of the ages hath he been manifested to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

KG	És miképpen elvégezett dolog, hogy az emberek egyszer meghaljanak, azután az ítélet:
AS	And inasmuch as it is appointed unto men once to die, and after this `cometh' judgment;
KJV	And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

KG	Azonképpen Krisztus is egyszer megáldoztatván sokak bűneinek eltörlése végett, másodszor bűn nélkül jelen meg azoknak, akik őt várják idvességökre.
AS	so Christ also, having been once offered to bear the sins of many, shall appear a second time, apart from sin, to them that wait for him, unto salvation.
KJV	So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
