KG	Te pedig azokat szóljad, amik az egészséges tudományhoz illenek.
KJV	But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:

KG	Hogy a vén emberek józanok legyenek, tisztességesek, mértékletesek; a hitben, szeretetben, tűrésben épek.
KJV	That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.

KG	Hasonlóképpen a vén asszonyok szentekhez illő magaviseletűek legyenek, nem patvarkodók, sem sok borivás rabjai, jóra oktatók;
KJV	The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;

KG	Hogy megokosítsák az ifjú asszonyokat, hogy férjöket és magzataikat szeressék,
KJV	That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

KG	Legyenek mértékletesek, tiszták, háziasak, jók, férjöknek engedelmesek, hogy az Isten beszéde ne káromoltassék.
KJV	To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

KG	Az ifjakat hasonlóképpen intsed, hogy legyenek mértékletesek:
KJV	Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.

KG	Mindenben tenmagadat adván példaképül a jó cselekedetekben; a tudományban romlatlanságot, méltóságot mutatván,
KJV	In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,

KG	Egészséges, feddhetetlen beszédet; hogy az ellenfél megszégyenüljön, semmi gonoszt sem tudván rólatok mondani.
KJV	Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.

KG	A szolgákat intsed, hogy az ő uraiknak engedelmeskedjenek, mindenben kedvöket keressék, ne ellenkezzenek,
KJV	Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again;

KG	Ne tolvajkodjanak, hanem teljes jó hűséget tanusítsanak; hogy a mi megtartó Istenünknek tudományát ékesítsék mindenben.
KJV	Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.

KG	Mert megjelent az Isten idvezítő kegyelme minden embernek,
KJV	For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

KG	Amely arra tanít minket, hogy megtagadván a hitetlenséget és a világi kivánságokat, mértékletesen, igazán és szentül éljünk a jelenvaló világon:
KJV	Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

KG	Várván ama boldog reménységet és a nagy Istennek és megtartó Jézus Krisztusunknak dicsősége megjelenését;
KJV	Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

KG	Aki önmagát adta mi érettünk, hogy megváltson minket minden hamisságtól, és tisztítson önmagának kiváltképpen való népet, jó cselekedetekre igyekezőt.
KJV	Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

KG	Ezeket szóljad, és ints és feddj teljes méltósággal; senki téged meg ne vessen.
KJV	These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
