KJV	For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as an hearth.

KG	Mert elenyésznek az én napjaim, mint a füst, és csontjaim, mint valami tűzhely, üszkösök.
KJV	My heart is smitten, and withered like grass; so that I forget to eat my bread.

KG	Virrasztok és olyan vagyok, mint a magános madár a háztetőn.
KJV	Mine enemies reproach me all the day; and they that are mad against me are sworn against me.

KG	Minden napon gyaláznak engem ellenségeim, csúfolóim esküsznek én reám.
KJV	For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mingled my drink with weeping.

KG	Bizony a port eszem kenyér gyanánt, és italomat könyekkel vegyítem,
KJV	Because of thine indignation and thy wrath: for thou hast lifted me up, and cast me down.

KG	A te felindulásod és búsulásod miatt; mert felemeltél engem és földhöz vertél engem.
KJV	My days are like a shadow that declineth; and I am withered like grass.

KG	Napjaim olyanok, mint a megnyúlt árnyék; magam pedig, mint a fű, megszáradtam.
KJV	But thou, O LORD, shall endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations.

KG	De te Uram örökké megmaradsz, és a te emlékezeted nemzetségről nemzetségre áll.
KJV	Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.

KG	Te kelj fel, könyörülj a Sionon! Mert ideje, hogy könyörülj rajta, mert eljött a megszabott idő.
KJV	For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof.

KG	Mert kedvelik a te szolgáid annak köveit, és a porát is kímélik.
KJV	So the heathen shall fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth thy glory.

KG	És félik a népek az Úrnak nevét, és e földnek minden királya a te dicsőségedet;
KJV	When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.

KG	Mivelhogy az Úr megépítette a Siont, megláttatta magát az ő dicsőségében.
KJV	He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.

KG	Oda fordult a gyámoltalanok imádsága felé, és azoknak imádságát meg nem útálta.
KJV	This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.

KG	Irattassék meg ez a következő nemzedéknek, és a teremtendő nép dicsérni fogja az Urat.
KJV	For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth;

KG	Mert alátekintett az ő szentségének magaslatáról; a mennyekből a földre nézett le az Úr.
KJV	To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death;

KG	Hogy meghallja a fogolynak nyögését, és hogy feloldozza a halálnak fiait.
KJV	To declare the name of the LORD in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem;

KG	Hogy hirdessék a Sionon az Úrnak nevét, és az ő dicséretét Jeruzsálemben.
KJV	When the people are gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve the LORD.

KG	Mikor egybegyűlnek a népek mindnyájan, és az országok, hogy szolgáljanak az Úrnak.
KJV	He weakened my strength in the way; he shortened my days.

KG	Megsanyargatta az én erőmet ez útban, megrövidítette napjaimat.
KJV	I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days: thy years are throughout all generations.

KG	Ezt mondám: Én Istenem! Ne vígy el engem az én napjaimnak felén; a te esztendeid nemzedékek nemzedékéig tartanak.
KJV	Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.

KG	Régente fundáltad a földet, s az egek is a te kezednek munkája.
KJV	They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:

KG	Azok elvesznek, de te megmaradsz; mindazok elavulnak, mint a ruha; mint az öltözetet, elváltoztatod azokat, és elváltoznak.
KJV	But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.

KG	De te ugyanaz vagy, és a te esztendeid el nem fogynak.
KJV	The children of thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established before thee.

KG	A te szolgáidnak fiai megmaradnak, és az ő magvok erősen megáll előtted.
