KG	Egy a test és egy a Lélek, miképpen elhívatástoknak egy reménységében hívattatok el is;
KJV	There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

KG	Egy az Úr, egy a hit, egy a keresztség;
KJV	One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

KG	Egy az Isten és mindeneknek Atyja, aki mindeneknek felette van és mindenek által és mindnyájatokban munkálkodik.
KJV	One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

KG	Mindenikünknek pedig adatott a kegyelem a Krisztustól osztott ajándéknak mértéke szerint.
KJV	But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

KG	Ezokáért mondja az Írás: Fölmenvén a magasságba foglyokat vitt fogva, és adott ajándékokat az embereknek.
KJV	Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

KG	(Az pedig, hogy fölment, mit jelentene mást, mint hogy előbb le is szállott a föld alsóbb részeire?
KJV	(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

KG	Aki leszállott vala, ugyanaz, aki fel is ment, feljebb minden egeknél, hogy mindeneket betöltsön.)
KJV	He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

KG	És Ő adott némelyeket apostolokul, némelyeket prófétákul, némelyeket evangyélistákul, némelyeket pedig pásztorokul és tanítókul:
KJV	And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

KG	A szentek tökéletesbbítése céljából szolgálat munkájára, a Krisztus testének építésére:
KJV	For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

KG	Míg eljutunk mindnyájan az Isten Fiában való hitnek és az Ő megismerésének egységére, érett férfiúságra, a Krisztus teljességével ékeskedő kornak mértékére:
KJV	Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

KG	Hogy többé ne legyünk gyermekek, kiket ide s tova hány a hab és hajt a tanításnak akármi szele, az embereknek álnoksága által, a tévelygés ravaszságához való csalárdság által;
KJV	That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

KG	Hanem az igazságot követvén szeretetben, mindenestől fogva nevekedjünk Abban, aki a fej, a Krisztusban;
KJV	But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

KG	Akiből az egész test, szép renddel egyberakatván és egybeszerkesztetvén az Ő segedelmének minden kapcsaival, minden egyes tagnak mértéke szerint való munkássággal teljesíti a testnek nevekedését a maga fölépítésére szeretetben.
KJV	From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

KG	Ezt mondom annakokáért és bizonyságot teszek az Úrban, hogy ti többé ne járjatok úgy, mint egyéb pogányok is járnak az ő elméjöknek hiábavalóságában,
KJV	This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

KG	Kik értelmökben meghomályosodtak, elidegenültek az isteni élettől a tudatlanság miatt, mely az ő szívök keménysége miatt van bennök;
KJV	Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

KG	Kik erkölcsi érzés nélkül, önmagukat a bujálkodásra adták, minden tisztátalanságnak nagy nyereséggel való cselekedésére.
KJV	Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

KG	Ti pedig nem így tanultátok a Krisztust;
KJV	But ye have not so learned Christ;

KG	Ha ugyan Őt megértettétek és Ő benne megtaníttattatok, úgy amint az igazság a Jézusban:
KJV	If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:

KG	Hogy levetkezzétek ama régi élet szerint való ó embert, mely meg van romolva a csalárdság kívánságai miatt;
KJV	That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

KG	Megújuljatok pedig a ti elméteknek lelke szerint,
KJV	And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

KG	És felöltözzétek amaz új embert, mely Isten szerint teremtetett igazságban és valóságos szentségben.
KJV	And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

KG	Azért levetvén a hazugságot, szóljatok igazságot, kiki az ő felebarátjával: mert egymásnak tagjai vagyunk.
KJV	Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

KG	Ám haragudjatok, de ne vétkezzetek: a nap le ne menjen a ti haragotokon;
KJV	Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

KG	Se pedig az ördögnek ne adjatok helyet.
KJV	Neither give place to the devil.

KG	Aki oroz vala, többé ne orozzon; hanem inkább munkálkodjék, cselekedvén az ő kezeivel azt, ami jó, hogy legyen mit adnia a szűkölködőnek.
KJV	Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

KG	Semmi rothadt beszéd a ti szátokból ki ne származzék, hanem csak amely hasznos a szükséges építésre, hogy áldásos legyen a hallgatóknak.
KJV	Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

KG	És meg ne szomorítsátok az Istennek ama Szent Lelkét, aki által megpecsételtettetek a teljes váltságnak napjára.
KJV	And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

KG	Minden mérgesség és fölgerjedés és harag és lárma és káromkodás kivettessék közületek minden gonoszsággal együtt;
KJV	Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

KG	Legyetek pedig egymáshoz jóságosak, irgalmasok, megengedvén egymásnak, miképpen az Isten is a Krisztusban megengedett néktek.
KJV	And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
