KG	Ezért vagyok én, Pál, a Krisztusnak foglya ti érettetek, a pogányokért;
KJV	For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,

KG	Ha ugyan hallottátok Isten kegyelmének rendelkezését, melyet nékem adott a ti érdeketekben;
KJV	If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:

KG	Hogy tudniillik kijelentés útján ismertette meg velem a titkot, aszerint, amint az elébb megírám röviden,
KJV	How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,

KG	Melynek olvasásából megérthetitek, hogy micsoda az én értelmem a Krisztus titka felől;
KJV	Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

KG	Amely egyéb időkben meg nem ismertettetett az emberek fiaival úgy, ahogy most kijelentetett az Ő szent apostolainak és prófétáinak a Lélek által:
KJV	Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

KG	Hogy tudniillik a pogányok örökös társak és egyugyanazon test tagjai és részesei az ő ígéretének a Krisztus Jézusban az evangyéliom által.
KJV	That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

KG	Amelynek szolgájává lettem az Isten ama kegyelmének ajándékából, mely adatott nékem az Ő hatalmának munkája szerint.
KJV	Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.

KG	Nékem, minden szentek között a legeslegkisebbnek adatott ez a kegyelem, hogy a pogányoknak hirdessem a Krisztus végére mehetetlen gazdagságát;
KJV	Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

KG	És hogy megvilágosítsam mindeneknek, hogy miképpen rendelkezett Isten ama titok felől, amely elrejtetett vala örök időktől fogva az Istenben, aki mindeneket teremtett a Jézus Krisztus által;
KJV	And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

KG	Azért, hogy megismertettessék most a mennybeli fejedelemségekkel és hatalmasságokkal az egyház által az Istennek sokféle bölcsesége,
KJV	To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

KG	Amaz örök eleve-elvégezés szerint, amelyet megcselekedett a Krisztus Jézusban, a mi Urunkban:
KJV	According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

KG	Akiben van a mi bátorságunk és bizodalommal való menetelünk Istenhez az Ő benne való hit által.
KJV	In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

KG	Azért kérlek, hogy ne csüggedjetek el az én ti érettetek való nyomorúságaim miatt, amelyek néktek dicsőségtekre vannak.
KJV	Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

KG	Ezokáért meghajtom térdeimet a mi Urunk Jézus Krisztusnak Atyja előtt,
KJV	For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

KG	Akiről neveztetik minden nemzetség, mennyen és földön,
KJV	Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

KG	Hogy adja meg néktek az Ő dicsősége gazdagságáért, hogy hatalmasan megerősödjetek az Ő Lelke által a belső emberben;
KJV	That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

KG	Hogy lakozzék a Krisztus a hit által a ti szívetekben;
KJV	That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

KG	A szeretetben meggyökerezvén és alapot vevén, hogy megérthessétek minden szentekkel egybe, mi a szélessége és hosszúsága és mélysége és magassága az Isten jóvoltának,
KJV	May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

KG	És megismerjétek a Krisztusnak minden ismeretet felül haladó szeretetét, hogy ekképpen beteljesedjetek az Istennek egész teljességéig.
KJV	And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

KG	Annak pedig, aki véghetetlen bőséggel mindeneket megcselekedhetik, feljebb hogynem mint kérjük vagy elgondoljuk, a mi bennünk munkálkodó erő szerint,
KJV	Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

KG	Annak légyen dicsőség az egyházban a Krisztus Jézusban nemzetségről nemzetségre örökkön örökké. Ámen!
KJV	Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
