KJV	And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

KG	És lőn nagy hirtelenséggel az égből mintegy sebesen zúgó szélnek zendülése, és eltelé az egész házat, ahol ülnek vala.
KJV	And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

KG	És megjelentek előttük kettős tüzes nyelvek és üle mindenikre azok közül.
KJV	And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

KG	És megtelének mindnyájan Szent Lélekkel, és kezdének szólni más nyelveken, amint a Lélek adta nékik szólniok.
KJV	And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

KG	Lakoznak vala pedig Jeruzsálemben zsidók, istenfélő férfiak, minden nép közül, melyek az ég alatt vannak.
KJV	And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

KG	Minekutána pedig ez a zúgás lőn, egybegyűle a sokaság és megzavarodék, mivelhogy mindegyik a maga nyelvén hallá őket szólni.
KJV	Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

KG	Álmélkodnak pedig mindnyájan és csodálkoznak vala, mondván egymásnak: Nemde nem Galileusok-é ezek mindnyájan, akik szólnak?
KJV	And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

KG	Mimódon halljuk hát őket, kiki közülünk a saját nyelvén, amelyben születtünk?
KJV	And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

KG	Párthusok és médek és elámiták, és kik lakozunk Mesopotámiában, Júdeában és Kappadóciában, Pontusban és Ázsiában,
KJV	Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,

KG	Frigiában és Pamfiliában, Égyiptomban és Libiának tartományiban, mely Ciréne mellett van, és a római jövevények, mind zsidók, mind prozelitusok,
KJV	Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,

KG	Krétaiak és arabok, halljuk amint szólják a mi nyelvünkön az Istennek nagyságos dolgait.
KJV	Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

KG	Álmélkodnak vala pedig mindnyájan és zavarban valának, egymásnak ezt mondván: Vajjon mi akar ez lenni?
KJV	And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?

KG	Mások pedig csúfolódva mondának: Édes bortól részegedtek meg.
KJV	Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

KG	Péter azonban előállván a tizenegygyel, felemelé szavát, és szóla nékik: Zsidó férfiak és mindnyájan, kik lakoztok Jeruzsálemben, legyen ez néktek tudtotokra, és vegyétek füleitekbe az én beszédimet!
KJV	But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

KG	Mert nem részegek ezek, amint ti állítjátok; hiszen a napnak harmadik órája van;
KJV	For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.

KG	Hanem ez az, ami megmondatott Jóel prófétától:
KJV	But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

KG	És lészen az utolsó napokban, ezt mondja az Isten, kitöltök az én Lelkemből minden testre: és prófétálnak a ti fiaitok és leányaitok, és a ti ifjaitok látásokat látnak, és a ti véneitek álmokat álmodnak.
KJV	And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

KG	És épen az én szolgáimra és az én szolgálóleányaimra is kitöltök azokban a napokban az én Lelkemből, és prófétálnak.
KJV	And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

KG	És tészek csudákat az égben odafenn, és jeleket a földön idelenn, vért, tüzet és füstnek gőzölgését.
KJV	And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

KG	A nap sötétséggé változik, és a hold vérré, minekelőtte eljő az Úrnak ama nagy és fényes napja.
KJV	The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:

KG	És lészen, hogy mindaz, aki az Úrnak nevét segítségül hívja, megtartatik.
KJV	And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

KG	Izráelita férfiak, halljátok meg e beszédeket: A názáreti Jézust, azt a férfiút, aki Istentől bizonyságot nyert előttetek erők, csudatételek és jelek által, melyeket ő általa cselekedett Isten ti köztetek, amint magatok is tudjátok.
KJV	Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:

KG	Azt, aki Istennek elvégezett tanácsából és rendeléséből adatott halálra, megragadván, gonosz kezeitekkel keresztfára feszítve megölétek:
KJV	Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

KG	Kit az Isten feltámasztott, a halál fájdalmait megoldván; mivelhogy lehetetlen volt néki attól fogvatartatnia.
KJV	Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

KG	Mert Dávid ezt mondja ő róla: Magam előtt láttam az Urat mindenkor, mert ő nékem jobb kezem felől van, hogy meg ne tántorodjam.
KJV	For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:

KG	Annakokáért örvendezett az én szívem, és vígadott az én nyelvem; annakfelette az én testem is reménységben nyugszik.
KJV	Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:

KG	Mert nem hagyod az én lelkemet a sírban, és nem engeded, hogy a te szented rothadást lásson.
KJV	Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

KG	Megjelentetted nékem az életnek útait; betöltesz engem örömmel a te orcád előtt.
KJV	Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.

KG	Atyámfiai férfiak, szabad nyilván szólanom ti előttetek Dávid pátriárkáról, hogy ő megholt és eltemettetett, és az ő sírja mind e mai napig minálunk van.
KJV	Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.

KG	Próféta lévén azért, és tudván, hogy az Isten néki esküvéssel megesküdött, hogy majd az ő ágyékának gyümölcséből támasztja a Krisztust test szerint, hogy helyheztesse az ő királyi székibe,
KJV	Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

KG	Előre látván ezt, szólott a Krisztus feltámadásáról, hogy az ő lelke nem hagyatott a sírban, sem az ő teste rothadást nem látott.
KJV	He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

KG	Ezt a Jézust feltámasztotta az Isten, minek mi mindnyájan tanúbizonyságai vagyunk.
KJV	This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

KG	Annakokáért az Istennek jobbja által felmagasztaltatván, és a megígért Szent Lelket megnyervén az Atyától, kitöltötte ezt, amit ti most láttok és hallotok.
KJV	Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

KG	Mert nem Dávid ment fel a mennyországba; hiszen ő maga mondja: Monda az Úr az én Uramnak: Ülj az én jobbkezem felől,
KJV	For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

KG	Míglen vetem a te ellenségeidet lábaid alá zsámolyul.
KJV	Until I make thy foes thy footstool.

KG	Bizonynyal tudja meg azért Izráelnek egész háza, hogy Úrrá és Krisztussá tette őt az Isten, azt a Jézust, akit ti megfeszítettetek.
KJV	Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

KG	Ezeket pedig mikor hallották, szívökben megkeseredének, és mondának Péternek és a többi apostoloknak: Mit cselekedjünk, atyámfiai, férfiak?
KJV	Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

KG	Péter pedig monda nékik: Térjetek meg és keresztelkedjetek meg mindnyájan a Jézus Krisztusnak nevében a bűnöknek bocsánatjára; és veszitek a Szent Lélek ajándékát.
KJV	Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

KG	Mert néktek lett az ígéret és a ti gyermekeiteknek, és mindazoknak, kik messze vannak, valakiket csak elhív magának az Úr, a mi Istenünk.
KJV	For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call.

KG	Sok egyéb beszéddel is buzgón kéri és inti vala őket, mondván: Szakasszátok el magatokat e gonosz nemzetségtől!
KJV	And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

KG	Akik azért örömest vevék az ő beszédét, megkeresztelkedének; és hozzájuk csatlakozék azon a napon mintegy háromezer lélek.
KJV	Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

KG	És foglalatosok valának az apostolok tudományában és a közösségben, a kenyérnek megtörésében és a könyörgésekben.
KJV	And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

KG	Támada pedig minden lélekben félelem, és az apostolok sok csudát és jelt tesznek vala.
KJV	And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

KG	Mindnyájan pedig, akik hivének, együtt valának, és mindenük köz vala;
KJV	And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

KG	És jószágukat és marháikat eladogaták, és szétosztogaták azokat mindenkinek, amint kinek-kinek szüksége vala.
KJV	And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

KG	És minden nap egyakarattal kitartva a templomban, és megtörve házanként a kenyeret, részesednek vala eledelben örömmel és tiszta szívvel.
KJV	And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

KG	Dícsérve az Istent, és az egész nép előtt kedvességet találva. Az Úr pedig minden napon szaporítja vala a gyülekezetet az idvezülőkkel.
KJV	Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
