KG	A lelki ajándékokra nézve pedig nem akarom, atyámfiai, hogy tudatlanok legyetek.
KJV	Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.

KG	Tudjátok, hogy pogányok voltatok, vitetvén, amint vitettetek, a néma bálványokhoz.
KJV	Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.

KG	Azért tudtotokra adom néktek, hogy senki, aki Istennek Lelke által szól, nem mondja Jézust átkozottnak; és senki sem mondhatja Úrnak Jézust, hanem csak a Szent Lélek által.
KJV	Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

KG	A kegyelmi ajándékokban pedig különbség van, de ugyanaz a Lélek.
KJV	Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

KG	A szolgálatokban is különbség van, de ugyanaz az Úr.
KJV	And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.

KG	És különbség van a cselekedetekben is, de ugyanaz az Isten, aki cselekszi mindezt mindenkiben.
KJV	And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

KG	Mindenkinek azonban haszonra adatik a Léleknek kijelentése.
KJV	But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

KG	Némelyiknek ugyanis bölcseségnek beszéde adatik a Lélek által; másiknak pedig tudománynak beszéde ugyanazon Lélek szerint;
KJV	For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

KG	Egynek hit ugyanazon Lélek által; másnak pedig gyógyítás ajándékai azon egy Lélek által;
KJV	To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

KG	Némelyiknek csodatévő erőknek munkái; némelyiknek meg prófétálás; némelyiknek pedig lelkeknek megítélése; másiknak nyelvek nemei; másnak pedig nyelvek magyarázása;
KJV	To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

KG	De mindezeket egy és ugyanaz a Lélek cselekszi, osztogatván mindenkinek külön, amint akarja.
KJV	But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

KG	Mert amiképpen a test egy és sok tagja van, az egy testnek tagjai pedig, noha sokan vannak, mind egy test, azonképpen a Krisztus is.
KJV	For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.

KG	Mert hiszen egy Lélek által mi mindnyájan egy testté kereszteltettünk meg, akár zsidók, akár görögök, akár szolgák, akár szabadok; és mindnyájan egy Lélekkel itattattunk meg.
KJV	For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

KG	Mert a test sem egy tag, hanem sok.
KJV	For the body is not one member, but many.

KG	Ha ezt mondaná a láb: mivelhogy nem kéz vagyok, nem vagyok a testből való; avagy nem a testből való-é azért?
KJV	If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

KG	És ha a fül ezt mondaná: mivelhogy nem vagyok szem, nem vagyok a testből való; avagy nem a testből való-é azért?
KJV	And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

KG	Ha az egész test szem, hol a hallás? ha az egész hallás, hol a szaglás?
KJV	If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?

KG	Most pedig az Isten elhelyezte a tagokat a testben egyenként mindeniket, amint akarta.
KJV	But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.

KG	Ha pedig az egész egy tag volna hol volna a test?
KJV	And if they were all one member, where were the body?

KG	Így azonban sok tag van ugyan, de egy test.
KJV	But now are they many members, yet but one body.

KG	Nem mondhatja pedig a szem a kéznek: Nincs rád szükségem; vagy viszont a fej a lábaknak: Nem kelletek nékem.
KJV	And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.

KG	Sőt sokkal inkább, amelyek a test legerőtelenebb tagjainak látszanak, azok igen szükségesek:
KJV	Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:

KG	És amelyeket a test tisztességtelenebb tagjainak tartunk, azoknak nagyobb tisztességet tulajdonítunk; és amelyek éktelenek bennünk, azok nagyobb ékességben részesülnek;
KJV	And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.

KG	Amelyek pedig ékesek bennünk, azoknak nincs erre szükségök. De az Isten szerkeszté egybe a testet, az alábbvalónak nagyobb tisztességet adván,
KJV	For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked.

KG	Hogy ne legyen hasonlás a testben, hanem ugyanarról gondoskodjanak egymásért a tagok.
KJV	That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.

KG	És akár szenved egy tag, vele együtt szenvednek a tagok mind; akár tisztességgel illettetik egy tag, vele együtt örülnek a tagok mind.
KJV	And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.

KG	Ti pedig a Krisztus teste vagytok, és tagjai rész szerint.
KJV	Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

KG	És pedig némelyeket rendelt az Isten az anyaszentegyházban először apostolokul, másodszor prófétákul, harmadszor tanítókul; azután csodatévő erőket, aztán gyógyításnak ajándékait, gyámolokat, kormányokat, nyelvek nemeit.
KJV	And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.

KG	Avagy mindnyájan apostolok-é? Vagy mindnyájan próféták-é? Avagy mindnyájan tanítók-é? Vagy mindnyájan csodatévő erők-é?
KJV	Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?

KG	Avagy mindnyájoknak van-é gyógyításra való ajándéka? Vagy mindnyájan szólnak-é nyelveken? Vagy mindnyájan magyaráznak-é?
KJV	Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?

KG	Igyekezzetek pedig a hasznosabb ajándékokra. És ezenfelül még egy kiváltképpen való útat mutatok néktek.
KJV	But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
