KG	Aki hű ahhoz, aki őt rendelte, valamint Mózes is az ő egész házában.

KG	Mert ez nagyobb dicsőségre méltattatott, mint Mózes, amennyiben a ház építőjének nagyobb a tisztessége, mint a háznak.
AS	For he hath been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, by so much as he that built the house hath more honor than the house.
KJV	For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house.

KG	Mert minden háznak van építője, aki pedig mindent elkészített, az Isten az.
AS	For every house is builded by some one; but he that built all things is God.

KG	Mózes is hű volt ugyan az ő egész házában, mint szolga, a hirdetendőknek bizonyságára,
AS	And Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were afterward to be spoken;
KJV	And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;

KG	Krisztus ellenben mint Fiú a maga háza felett, akinek háza mi vagyunk, ha a bizodalmat és a reménységnek dicsekedését mind végig erősen megtartjuk.
AS	but Christ as a son, over his house; whose house are we, if we hold fast our boldness and the glorying of our hope firm unto the end.

KG	Ahol a ti atyáitok próbára tevéssel megkísértének engem és látták az én cselekedeteimet negyven esztendeig.
AS	Where your fathers tried `me' by proving `me,' And saw my works forty years.
KJV	When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.

KG	Azért megharagudtam arra a nemzetségre és mondám: mindig tévelyegnek szivökben; ők pedig nem ismerték meg az én útaimat.
AS	Wherefore I was displeased with this generation, And said, They do always err in their heart: But they did not know my ways;
KJV	Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.

KG	Úgy hogy megesküdtem haragomban, hogy nem fognak bemenni az én nyugodalmamba.
AS	As I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.
KJV	So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)

KG	Vigyázzatok atyámfiai, hogy valaha ne legyen bármelyikőtöknek hitetlen gonosz szíve, hogy az élő Istentől elszakadjon;
AS	Take heed, brethren, lest haply there shall be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God:
KJV	Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

KG	Hanem intsétek egymást minden napon, míg tart a ma, hogy egyikőtök se keményíttessék meg a bűnnek csalárdsága által:
AS	but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called To-day; lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin:
KJV	But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

KG	Mert részeseivé lettünk Krisztusnak, ha ugyan az elkezdett bizodalmat mindvégig erősen megtartjuk.
AS	for we are become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our confidence firm unto the end:
KJV	For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

KG	E mondás szerint: Ma, ha az ő szavát halljátok, meg ne keményítsétek a ti szíveiteket, mint az elkeseredéskor.
AS	while it is said, To-day if ye shall hear his voice, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
KJV	While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

KG	Mert kik keseredtek el, mikor ezt hallák? Nemde mindazok, akik kijövének Égyiptomból Mózes által?
AS	For who, when they heard, did provoke? nay, did not all they that came out of Egypt by Moses?
KJV	For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.

KG	Kikre haragudott vala pedig meg negyven esztendeig? avagy nem azokra-é, akik vétkeztek, akiknek testei elhullottak a pusztában?
AS	And with whom was he displeased forty years? was it not with them that sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
KJV	But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?

KG	Kiknek esküdött pedig meg, hogy nem mennek be az ő nyugodalmába, hanemha az engedetleneknek?
AS	And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that were disobedient?
KJV	And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?

KG	Látjuk is, hogy nem mehettek be hitetlenség miatt.
AS	And we see that they were not able to enter in because of unbelief.
KJV	So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
