1. vers

2. vers
KG Hiszen ismerem a ti készségteket, amellyel dicsekszem felőletek a macedónoknak, hogy Akhája kész a múlt esztendő óta; és a ti buzgóságtok sokakat magával ragadt.
AS for I know your readiness, of which I glory on your behalf to them of Macedonia, that Achaia hath been prepared for a year past; and your zeal hath stirred up very many of them.
KJV For I know the forwardness of your mind, for which I boast of you to them of Macedonia, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal hath provoked very many.
3. vers
KG Mindamellett elküldöttem az atyafiakat, hogy a mi felőletek való dicsekedésünk ebben a részben hiábavaló ne legyen; hogy, amint mondám, készen legyetek.
AS But I have sent the brethren, that our glorying on your behalf may not be made void in this respect; that, even as I said, ye may be prepared:
KJV Yet have I sent the brethren, lest our boasting of you should be in vain in this behalf; that, as I said, ye may be ready:
4. vers
KG Hogy aztán, ha a macedónok velem együtt odajutnak és titeket készületlenül találnak, valamiképpen szégyent ne valljunk mi, hogy ne mondjam ti, ebben a dologban.
AS lest by any means, if there come with me any of Macedonia and find you unprepared, we (that we say not, ye) should be put to shame in this confidence.
KJV Lest haply if they of Macedonia come with me, and find you unprepared, we (that we say not, ye) should be ashamed in this same confident boasting.
5. vers
KG Szükségesnek véltem azért utasítani az atyafiakat, hogy előre menjenek el hozzátok, és készítsék el előre a ti előre megígért adományotokat, hogy az úgy legyen készen, mint adomány, és nem mint ragadomány.
AS I thought it necessary therefore to entreat the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your aforepromised bounty, that the same might be ready as a matter of bounty, and not of extortion.
KJV Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your bounty, whereof ye had notice before, that the same might be ready, as a matter of bounty, and not as of covetousness.
6. vers

7. vers
KG Kiki amint eltökélte szívében, nem szomorúságból, vagy kénytelenségből; mert a jókedvű adakozót szereti az Isten.
AS `Let' each man `do' according as he hath purposed in his heart: not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
KJV Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
8. vers
KG Az Isten pedig hatalmas arra, hogy rátok árassza minden kegyelmét; hogy mindenben, mindenkor teljes elégségtek lévén, minden jótéteményre bőségben legyetek,
AS And God is able to make all grace abound unto you; that ye, having always all sufficiency in everything, may abound unto every good work:
KJV And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

10. vers
KG Aki pedig magot ád a magvetőnek és kenyeret eleségül, ád és megsokasítja a ti vetésteket és megnöveli a ti igazságtoknak gyümölcsét,
AS And he that supplieth seed to the sower and bread for food, shall supply and multiply your seed for sowing, and increase the fruits of your righteousness:
KJV Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)
11. vers

KJV For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God;
13. vers
KG Amennyiben e szolgálatnak próbája által dicsőítik az Istent a ti Krisztus evangyéliomát valló engedelmességtekért, és a ti hozzájuk és mindenekhez való adakozó jószívűségtekért,
AS seeing that through the proving `of you' by this ministration they glorify God for the obedience of your confession unto the gospel of Christ, and for the liberality of `your' contribution unto them and unto all;
