KG	Isten, ne vesztegelj, ne hallgass és ne nyugodjál, Isten!
KJV	For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.

KG	Mert ímé, háborognak ellenségeid, s gyűlölőid fejöket emelik.
KJV	They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.

KG	Néped ellen álnok tanácsot gondolnak s védenceid ellen terveket szőnek.
KJV	They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.

KG	Ezt mondják: Jertek, veszessük el őket, hogy ne legyenek nemzet, hogy ne emlegessék többé Izráel nevét!
KJV	For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:

KG	Mert tanácskoztak együtt, egy szívvel; szövetséget kötöttek ellened:
KJV	The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;

KG	Az Edomiták és Ismáeliták sátrai, a Moábiták és Hagarénusok;
KJV	Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;

KG	A Gebaliták, Ammoniták és Amálekiták, a Filiszteusok Tyrus lakosaival együtt.
KJV	Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.

KG	Az asszir is szövetkezett velök, segítőjévé lettek a Lót fiainak. Szela.
KJV	Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:

KG	Úgy bánj velök, mint Midjánnal, mint Siserával, mint Jábinnal a Kison patakjánál!
KJV	Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth.

KG	Akik elvesztek vala Endornál, és a föld szemetjévé lőnek.
KJV	Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:

KG	Tedd őket, fejedelmöket olyanokká, mint Orebet s mint Zeébet, Zebahot és Szalmunát, minden felkentjökkel,
KJV	Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.

KG	Akik ezt mondták: Foglaljuk el magunknak az Isten hajlékait!
KJV	O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.

KG	Én Istenem! Tedd őket olyanokká, amilyen a porfelhő, és amilyen a polyva a szél előtt;
KJV	As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;

KG	Olyanokká, mint a tűz, amely meggyújtja az erdőt, és mint a láng, amely elégeti a hegyeket.
KJV	So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.

KG	Így kergesd őket a te szélvészeddel, és forgószeleddel így rettentsd őket!
KJV	Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O LORD.

KG	Töltsd el orcájukat gyalázattal, hogy keressék Uram a te nevedet!
KJV	Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:

KG	Szégyenüljenek meg és rémüljenek el örökké, és piruljanak és pusztuljanak,
KJV	That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.

KG	Hogy megtudják, hogy te, akinek neve Jehova, egymagad vagy felséges Isten az egész földön.
