KG	Bizony, bizony mondom néktek: Aki nem az ajtón megy be a juhok aklába, hanem másunnan hág be, tolvaj az és rabló.
KJV	Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

KG	Aki pedig az ajtón megy be, a juhok pásztora az.
KJV	But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

KG	Ennek az ajtónálló ajtót nyit; és a juhok hallgatnak annak szavára; és a maga juhait nevökön szólítja, és kivezeti őket.
KJV	To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.

KG	És mikor kiereszti az ő juhait, előttök megy; és a juhok követik őt, mert ismerik az ő hangját.
KJV	And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

KG	Idegent pedig nem követnek, hanem elfutnak attól: mert nem ismerik az idegenek hangját.
KJV	And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

KG	Ezt a példázatot mondá nékik Jézus; de ők nem értették, mi az, amit szól vala nékik.
KJV	This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.

KG	Újra monda azért nékik Jézus: Bizony, bizony mondom néktek, hogy én vagyok a juhoknak ajtaja.
KJV	Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

KG	Mindazok, akik előttem jöttek, tolvajok és rablók: de nem hallgattak rájok a juhok.
KJV	All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.

KG	Én vagyok az ajtó: ha valaki én rajtam megy be, megtartatik és bejár és kijár majd, és legelőt talál.
KJV	I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

KG	A tolvaj nem egyébért jő, hanem hogy lopjon és öljön és pusztítson; én azért jöttem, hogy életök legyen, és bővölködjenek.
KJV	The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

KG	Én vagyok a jó pásztor: a jó pásztor életét adja a juhokért.
KJV	I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

KG	A béres pedig és aki nem pásztor, akinek a juhok nem tulajdonai, látja a farkast jőni, és elhagyja a juhokat, és elfut: és a farkas elragadozza azokat, és elszéleszti a juhokat.
KJV	But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.

KG	A béres pedig azért fut el, mert béres, és nincs gondja a juhokra.
KJV	The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.

KG	Én vagyok a jó pásztor; és ismerem az enyéimet, és engem is ismernek az enyéim,
KJV	I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

KG	Amiként ismer engem az Atya, és én is ismerem az Atyát; és életemet adom a juhokért.
KJV	As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

KG	Más juhaim is vannak nékem, amelyek nem ebből az akolból valók: azokat is elő kell hoznom, és hallgatnak majd az én szómra; és lészen egy akol és egy pásztor.
KJV	And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

KG	Azért szeret engem az Atya, mert én leteszem az én életemet, hogy újra felvegyem azt.
KJV	Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.

KG	Senki sem veszi azt el én tőlem, hanem én teszem le azt én magamtól. Van hatalmam letenni azt, és van hatalmam ismét felvenni azt. Ezt a parancsolatot vettem az én Atyámtól.
KJV	No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

KG	Újra hasonlás lőn a zsidók között e beszédek miatt.
KJV	There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings.

KG	És sokan mondják vala közülök: Ördög van benne és bolondozik, mit hallgattok reá?
KJV	And many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him?

KG	Mások mondának: Ezek nem ördöngősnek beszédei. Vajjon az ördög megnyithatja-é a vakok szemeit?
KJV	Others said, These are not the words of him that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?

KG	Lőn pedig Jeruzsálemben a templomszentelés ünnepe: és tél vala;
KJV	And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.

KG	És Jézus a templomban, a Salamon tornácában jár vala.
KJV	And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch.

KG	Körülvevék azért őt a zsidók, és mondának néki: Meddig tartasz még bizonytalanságban bennünket? Ha te vagy a Krisztus, mondd meg nékünk nyilván!
KJV	Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.

KG	Felele nékik Jézus: Megmondtam néktek, és nem hiszitek: a cselekedetek, amelyeket én cselekszem az én Atyám nevében, azok tesznek bizonyságot rólam.
KJV	Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.

KG	De ti nem hisztek, mert ti nem az én juhaim közül vagytok. Amint megmondtam néktek:
KJV	But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.

KG	Az én juhaim hallják az én szómat, és én ismerem őket, és követnek engem:
KJV	My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

KG	És én örök életet adok nékik; és soha örökké el nem vesznek, és senki ki nem ragadja őket az én kezemből.
KJV	And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

KG	Az én Atyám, aki azokat adta nékem, nagyobb mindeneknél; és senki sem ragadhatja ki azokat az én Atyámnak kezéből.
KJV	My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

KG	Én és az Atya egy vagyunk.
KJV	I and my Father are one.

KG	Ismét köveket ragadának azért a zsidók, hogy megkövezzék őt.
KJV	Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.

KG	Felele nékik Jézus: Sok jó dolgot mutattam néktek az én Atyámtól; azok közül melyik dologért köveztek meg engem?
KJV	Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?

KG	Felelének néki a zsidók, mondván: Jó dologért nem kövezünk meg téged, hanem káromlásért, tudniillik, hogy te ember létedre Istenné teszed magadat.
KJV	The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

KG	Felele nékik Jézus: Nincs-é megírva a ti törvényetekben: Én mondám: Istenek vagytok?
KJV	Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?

KG	Ha azokat isteneknek mondá, akikhez az Isten beszéde lőn (és az írás fel nem bontható),
KJV	If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

KG	Arról mondjátok-é ti, akit az Atya megszentelt és elküldött e világra: Káromlást szólsz; mivelhogy azt mondám: Az Isten Fia vagyok?!
KJV	Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

KG	Ha az én Atyám dolgait nem cselekszem, ne higyjetek nékem;
KJV	If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.

KG	Ha pedig azokat cselekszem, ha nékem nem hisztek is, higyjetek a cselekedeteknek: hogy megtudjátok és elhigyjétek, hogy az Atya én bennem van, és én ő benne vagyok.
KJV	But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.

KG	Ismét meg akarák azért őt fogni; de kiméne az ő kezökből.
KJV	Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand,

KG	És újra elméne túl a Jordánon, arra a helyre, ahol János először keresztelt vala; és ott marada.
KJV	And went away again beyond Jordan into the place where John at first baptized; and there he abode.

KG	És sokan menének ő hozzá és mondják vala, hogy: János nem tett ugyan semmi csodát; de mindaz, amit János e felől mondott, igaz vala.
KJV	And many resorted unto him, and said, John did no miracle: but all things that John spake of this man were true.

KG	És sokan hivének ott ő benne.
KJV	And many believed on him there.
