AS	And when they draw nigh unto Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth two of his disciples,

KG	És monda nékik: Eredjetek abba a faluba, amely előttetek van; és amikor abba bejuttok, azonnal találtok egy megkötött vemhet, amelyen ember nem ült még soha; azt oldjátok el és hozzátok ide.
AS	and saith unto them, Go your way into the village that is over against you: and straightway as ye enter into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon no man ever yet sat; loose him, and bring him.
KJV	And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him.

KG	És ha valaki azt mondja néktek: Miért teszitek ezt? mondjátok: Az Úrnak van szüksége reá. És azonnal elbocsátja azt ide.
AS	And if any one say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye, The Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him back hither.

KG	Elmenének azért és megtalálák a megkötött vemhet, az ajtónál kívül a kettős útnál, és eloldák azt.
AS	And they went away, and found a colt tied at the door without in the open street; and they loose him.

KG	Az ott állók közül pedig némelyek mondának nékik: Mit míveltek, hogy eloldjátok a vemhet?
AS	And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt?

KG	Ők pedig felelének nékik, úgy, amint Jézus megparancsolta vala. És elbocsáták őket.
AS	And they said unto them even as Jesus had said: and they let them go.

KG	És oda vivék a vemhet Jézushoz, és ráveték felső ruháikat; ő pedig felüle reá.
AS	And they bring the colt unto Jesus, and cast on him their garments; and he sat upon him.
KJV	And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him.

KG	Sokan pedig felső ruháikat az útra teríték, mások pedig ágakat szegdelnek vala a fákról és az útra hányják vala.
AS	And many spread their garments upon the way; and others branches, which they had cut from the fields.
KJV	And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way.

KG	Akik pedig előtte menének, és akik követék, kiáltának, mondván: Hozsánna! Áldott, aki jő az Úrnak nevében!
AS	And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, Hosanna; Blessed `is' he that cometh in the name of the Lord:

KG	És beméne Jézus Jeruzsálembe, és a templomba; és mindent körülnézvén, mivelhogy az idő már késő vala, kiméne Bethániába a tizenkettővel.
AS	And he entered into Jerusalem, into the temple; and when he had looked round about upon all things, it being now eventide, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve.

AS	And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find anything thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for it was not the season of figs.

KG	Akkor felelvén Jézus, monda a fügefának: Soha örökké ne egyék rólad gyümölcsöt senki. És hallák az ő tanítványai.
AS	And he answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit from thee henceforward for ever. And his disciples heard it.

KG	És Jeruzsálembe érkezének. És Jézus bemenvén a templomba, kezdé kiűzni azokat, akik a templomban árulnak és vásárolnak vala; a pénzváltók asztalait, és a galambárúsok székeit pedig felforgatá;
AS	And they come to Jerusalem: and he entered into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and them that bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money-changers, and the seats of them that sold the doves;

KG	És nem engedi vala, hogy valaki edényt vigyen a templomon keresztül.

AS	And he taught, and said unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations? but ye have made it a den of robbers.

KG	És meghallák az írástudók és a főpapok, és tanakodnak vala, hogy mi módon veszíthetnék el őt. Mert félnek vala tőle, mivelhogy az egész sokaság álmélkodik vala az ő tanításán.
AS	And the chief priests and the scribes heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, for all the multitude was astonished at his teaching.

KG	És mikor beestveledék, kiméne a városból.
AS	And every evening he went forth out of the city.

KG	És Péter visszaemlékezvén, monda néki: Mester nézd, a fügefa, amelyet megátkoztál, kiszáradott.
AS	And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Rabbi, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.

KG	És Jézus felelvén, monda nékik: Legyen hitetek Istenben.

KG	Mert bizony mondom néktek, ha valaki azt mondja ennek a hegynek: Kelj fel és ugorjál a tengerbe! és szívében nem kételkedik, hanem hiszi, hogy amit mond, megtörténik, meg lesz néki, amit mondott.
AS	Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou taken up and cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that what he saith cometh to pass; he shall have it.

AS	Therefore I say unto you, All things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

KG	És mikor imádkozva megállotok, bocsássátok meg, ha valaki ellen valami panaszotok van; hogy a ti mennyei Atyátok is megbocsássa néktek a ti vétkeiteket.
AS	And whensoever ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have aught against any one; that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

KG	Ha pedig ti meg nem bocsátotok, a ti mennyei Atyátok sem bocsátja meg a ti vétkeiteket.

KG	Jézus pedig felelvén, monda nékik: Én is kérdek egy dolgot tőletek, és feleljetek meg nékem, akkor megmondom néktek, hogy miféle hatalomnál fogva cselekszem ezeket:
AS	And Jesus said unto them, I will ask of you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.

KG	A János keresztsége mennyből vala-é, vagy emberektől? feleljetek nékem.
AS	The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or from men? answer me.

KG	Azok pedig tanakodnak vala maguk között, mondván: Ha azt mondjuk: Mennyből, azt fogja mondani: Miért nem hittetek tehát néki?
AS	And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; He will say, Why then did ye not believe him?

KG	Ha pedig azt mondjuk: Emberektől, – félnek vala a néptől. Mert mindenki azt tartja vala Jánosról, hogy valóban próféta vala.
AS	But should we say, From men--they feared the people: for all verily held John to be a prophet.
KJV	But if we shall say, Of men; they feared the people: for all men counted John, that he was a prophet indeed.

KG	Felelvén tehát, mondának Jézusnak: Nem tudjuk. Jézus is felelvén, monda nékik: Én sem mondom meg néktek, miféle hatalomnál fogva cselekszem ezeket.
AS	And they answered Jesus and say, We know not. And Jesus saith unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.
