KG	Ezt mondja az Úr, Izráel Istene, te néked, Báruk:
AS	Thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel, unto thee, O Baruch:

KG	Ezt mondottad: Jaj mostan nékem, mert az Úr az én bánatomra fájdalmat adott, elfáradtam az én fohászkodásomban, és nyugodalmat nem találtam.
AS	Thou didst say, Woe is me now! for Jehovah hath added sorrow to my pain; I am weary with my groaning, and I find no rest.
KJV	Thou didst say, Woe is me now! for the LORD hath added grief to my sorrow; I fainted in my sighing, and I find no rest.

KG	Ezt mondd néki: Ezt mondja az Úr: Ímé, akiket én felépítettem, elrontom, és akiket én beplántáltam, kiszaggatom, és pedig az egész földön.
AS	Thus shalt thou say unto him, Thus saith Jehovah: Behold, that which I have built will I break down, and that which I have planted I will pluck up; and this in the whole land.
KJV	Thus shalt thou say unto him, The LORD saith thus; Behold, that which I have built will I break down, and that which I have planted I will pluck up, even this whole land.

KG	És te kivánsz-é magadnak nagyokat? Ne kivánj; mert ímé én veszedelmet bocsátok minden testre, ezt mondja az Úr, és a te lelkedet zsákmányul adom néked, minden helyen, ahová elmégy.
AS	And seekest thou great things for thyself? seek them not; for, behold, I will bring evil upon all flesh, saith Jehovah; but thy life will I give unto thee for a prey in all places whither thou goest.
