AS	If thou buy a Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve: and in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing.

KG	Ha egyedűl jött, egyedűl menjen el; ha feleséges ember, menjen el vele a felesége is.
AS	If he come in by himself, he shall go out by himself: if he be married, then his wife shall go out with him.

KG	Ha az ő ura adott néki feleséget, és ez fiakat vagy leányokat szűlt néki: az asszony, gyermekeivel együtt legyen az ő uráé; ő pedig egyedűl menjen el.
AS	If his master give him a wife and she bear him sons or daughters; the wife and her children shall be her master's, and he shall go out by himself.
KJV	If his master have given him a wife, and she have born him sons or daughters; the wife and her children shall be her master's, and he shall go out by himself.

KG	De ha a szolga azt mondaná: Szeretem az én uramat, az én feleségemet és fiaimat, nem akarok felszabadulni:
AS	But if the servant shall plainly say, I love my master, my wife, and my children; I will not go out free:

KG	Akkor vigye őt az ő ura a bírák elé, és állítsa az ajtóhoz vagy az ajtófélhez, és az ő ura fúrja által az ő fülét árral; és szolgálja őt mindörökké.
AS	then his master shall bring him unto God, and shall bring him to the door, or unto the door-post; and his master shall bore his ear through with an awl; and he shall serve him for ever.

KG	És ha valaki az ő leányát szolgálóul adja el, ne úgy menjen el, mint a szolgák mennek.
AS	And if a man sell his daughter to be a maid-servant, she shall not go out as the men-servants do.

KG	Ha nem tetszik az ő urának, hogy eljegyezze őt magának, akkor váltassa ki; arra, hogy idegen népnek eladja, nincs hatalma, mivel hűtelen volt hozzá.
AS	If she please not her master, who hath espoused her to himself, then shall he let her be redeemed: to sell her unto a foreign people he shall have no power, seeing he hath dealt deceitfully with her.
KJV	If she please not her master, who hath betrothed her to himself, then shall he let her be redeemed: to sell her unto a strange nation he shall have no power, seeing he hath dealt deceitfully with her.

KG	Ha pedig a fiának jegyzi el őt: a leányok törvénye szerint cselekedjék vele.
AS	And if he espouse her unto his son, he shall deal with her after the manner of daughters.

KG	Ha mást vesz magának: ennek ételét, ruházatát és házasságbeli igazát alább ne szállítsa.
AS	If he take him another `wife'; her food, her raiment, and her duty of marriage, shall he not diminish.

KG	Ha ezt a hármat nem cselekszi vele: akkor menjen az el ingyen, fizetés nélkűl.
AS	And if he do not these three things unto her, then shall she go out for nothing, without money.

KG	Aki úgy megver valakit, hogy meghal, halállal lakoljon.
AS	He that smiteth a man, so that he dieth, shall surely be put to death.

KG	De ha nem leselkedett, hanem Isten ejtette kezébe: úgy helyet rendelek néked, ahova meneküljön.
AS	And if a man lie not in wait, but God deliver `him' into his hand; then I will appoint thee a place whither he shall flee.

KG	Ha pedig valaki szándékosan tör felebarátja ellen, hogy azt orvúl megölje, oltáromtól is elvidd azt a halálra.
AS	And if a man come presumptuously upon his neighbor, to slay him with guile; thou shalt take him from mine altar, that he may die.
KJV	But if a man come presumptuously upon his neighbor, to slay him with guile; thou shalt take him from mine altar, that he may die.

KG	Aki megveri az ő atyját vagy anyját, halállal lakoljon.
AS	And he that smiteth his father, or his mother, shall be surely put to death.

KG	Aki embert lop, és eladja azt, vagy kezében kapják, halállal lakoljon.
AS	And he that stealeth a man, and selleth him, or if he be found in his hand, he shall surely be put to death.

KG	Aki szidalmazza az ő atyját vagy anyját, halállal lakoljon.

KG	És ha férfiak összevesznek, és megüti valaki az ő felebarátját kővel vagy öklével, és nem hal meg, hanem ágyba esik:
AS	And if men contend, and one smite the other with a stone, or with his fist, and he die not, but keep his bed;
KJV	And if men strive together, and one smite another with a stone, or with his fist, and he die not, but keepeth his bed:

KG	Ha felkél, és mankóján kinn jár: ne legyen büntetve az, aki megütötte; csupán fekvéséért fizessen és gyógyíttassa meg.
AS	if he rise again, and walk abroad upon his staff, then shall he that smote him be quit: only he shall pay for the loss of his time, and shall cause him to be thoroughly healed.

KG	Ha pedig valaki úgy üti meg szolgáját vagy szolgálóját bottal, hogy az meghal keze alatt, büntettessék meg.

KG	De ha egy vagy két nap életben marad, ne büntettessék meg, mert pénze ára az.
AS	Notwithstanding, if he continue a day or two, he shall not be punished: for he is his money.

KG	Ha férfiak veszekednek és meglöknek valamely terhes asszonyt, úgy hogy idő előtt szűl, de egyéb veszedelem nem történik: bírságot fizessen aszerint, amint az asszony férje azt reá kiveti, de bírák előtt fizessen.
AS	And if men strive together, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart, and yet no harm follow; he shall be surely fined, according as the woman's husband shall lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine.

KG	De ha veszedelem történik: akkor életért életet adj.

KG	Szemet szemért, fogat fogért, kezet kézért, lábat lábért;

KG	Égetést égetésért, sebet sebért, kéket kékért.
AS	burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.

KG	Ha valaki az ő szolgájának szemét, vagy szolgálójának szemét úgy üti meg, hogy elpusztul, bocsássa azt szabadon az ő szeméért.
AS	And if a man smite the eye of his servant, or the eye of his maid, and destroy it; he shall let him go free for his eye's sake.
KJV	And if a man smite the eye of his servant, or the eye of his maid, that it perish; he shall let him go free for his eye's sake.

KG	Ha pedig szolgájának fogát, vagy szolgálójának fogát üti ki, bocsássa azt szabadon az ő fogáért.
AS	And if he smite out his man-servant's tooth, or his maid-servant's tooth, he shall let him go free for his tooth's sake.
KJV	And if he smite out his manservant's tooth, or his maidservant's tooth; he shall let him go free for his tooth's sake.

KG	Ha férfit vagy asszonyt öklel meg egy ökör, úgy hogy meghal: kővel köveztessék meg az ökör, és húsát meg ne egyék; de az ökörnek ura ártatlan.
AS	And if an ox gore a man or a woman to death, the ox shall be surely stoned, and its flesh shall not be eaten; but the owner of the ox shall be quit.
KJV	If an ox gore a man or a woman, that they die: then the ox shall be surely stoned, and his flesh shall not be eaten; but the owner of the ox shall be quit.

KG	De ha az ökör azelőtt is öklelős volt, és annak urát megintették, és még sem őrizte azt, és férfit vagy asszonyt ölt meg: az ökör köveztessék meg, és az ura is halállal lakoljon.
AS	But if the ox was wont to gore in time past, and it hath been testified to its owner, and he hath not kept it in, but it hath killed a man or a woman, the ox shall be stoned, and its owner also shall be put to death.

KG	Ha pénzváltságot vetnek reá, fizessen lelke váltságáért annyit, amennyit reá kivetnek.
AS	If there be laid on him a ransom, then he shall give for the redemption of his life whatsoever is laid upon him.

KG	Akár fiút ökleljen meg, akár leányt ökleljen meg: e szerint a rendelet szerint kell cselekedni.
AS	Whether it have gored a son, or have gored a daughter, according to this judgment shall it be done unto him.

KG	Ha szolgát öklel meg az ökör vagy szolgálót: adassék azok urának harminc ezüst siklus, az ökör pedig köveztessék meg.
AS	If the ox gore a man-servant or a maid-servant, there shall be given unto their master thirty shekels of silver, and the ox shall be stoned.

KG	Ha pedig valaki vermet nyit meg, vagy ha valaki vermet ás, és nem fedi azt be, és ökör vagy szamár esik bele:
AS	And if a man shall open a pit, or if a man shall dig a pit and not cover it, and an ox or an ass fall therein,
KJV	And if a man shall open a pit, or if a man shall dig a pit, and not cover it, and an ox or an ass fall therein;

KG	A verem ura fizessen; pénzül térítse meg azok urának, a hulla pedig legyen az övé.
AS	the owner of the pit shall make it good; he shall give money unto the owner thereof, and the dead `beast' shall be his.
KJV	The owner of the pit shall make it good, and give money unto the owner of them; and the dead beast shall be his.

KG	És ha valakinek ökre megdöfi az ő felebarátja ökrét, úgy hogy az elpusztul: adják el az eleven ökröt, és az árát osszák meg, és a hullát is osszák el.
AS	And if one man's ox hurt another's, so that it dieth, then they shall sell the live ox, and divide the price of it: and the dead also they shall divide.
KJV	And if one man's ox hurt another's, that he die; then they shall sell the live ox, and divide the money of it; and the dead ox also they shall divide.

KG	Vagy ha tudták, hogy az ökör már azelőtt öklelős volt, és nem őrizte azt annak ura: fizessen ökröt az ökörért, a hulla pedig az övé legyen.
AS	Or if it be known that the ox was wont to gore in time past, and its owner hath not kept it in, he shall surely pay ox for ox, and the dead `beast' shall be his own.
KJV	Or if it be known that the ox hath used to push in time past, and his owner hath not kept him in; he shall surely pay ox for ox; and the dead shall be his own.
