KG	Elindula azért Izráel minden hozzá tartozóival és méne Beérsebába; és áldozék áldozatokat az ő atyja Izsák Istenének.
KJV	And Israel took his journey with all that he had, and came to Beersheba, and offered sacrifices unto the God of his father Isaac.

KG	És szóla Isten Izráelnek éjjeli látomásban, és monda: Jákób, Jákób. Ő pedig monda: Ímhol vagyok.
KJV	And God spake unto Israel in the visions of the night, and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here am I.

KG	És monda: Én vagyok az Isten, a te atyádnak Istene: Ne félj lemenni Égyiptomba: mert nagy néppé teszlek ott téged.
KJV	And he said, I am God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation:

KG	Én lemegyek veled Égyiptomba, és én bizonynyal fel is hozlak; és József fogja bé a te szemeidet.
KJV	I will go down with thee into Egypt; and I will also surely bring thee up again: and Joseph shall put his hand upon thine eyes.

KG	Felkerekedék azért Jákób Beérsebából, és elvivék Izráel fiai Jákóbot az ő atyjokat, és gyermekeiket és feleségeiket a szekereken, melyeket a Faraó küldött vala érette.
KJV	And Jacob rose up from Beersheba: and the sons of Israel carried Jacob their father, and their little ones, and their wives, in the wagons which Pharaoh had sent to carry him.

KG	És elvivék nyájaikat és szerzeményeiket, melyeket Kanaán földén szereztek vala, és jutának Égyiptomba Jákób és minden vele levő magva.
KJV	And they took their cattle, and their goods, which they had gotten in the land of Canaan, and came into Egypt, Jacob, and all his seed with him:

KG	Az ő fiait és fiainak fiait, az ő leányait, és fiainak leányait és minden vele levő magvát elvivé magával Égyiptomba.
KJV	His sons, and his sons' sons with him, his daughters, and his sons' daughters, and all his seed brought he with him into Egypt.

KG	Ezek pedig az Izráel fiainak nevei, kik bementek Égyiptomba: Jákób és az ő fiai: Jákóbnak elsőszülötte Rúben.
KJV	And these are the names of the children of Israel, which came into Egypt, Jacob and his sons: Reuben, Jacob's firstborn.

KG	Rúben fiai pedig: Khánokh, Pallu, Khecrón, Khármi.
KJV	And the sons of Reuben; Hanoch, and Phallu, and Hezron, and Carmi.

KG	Simeon fiai pedig: Jemúel, Jámin, Ohad, Jákhin, Cóhár és Saul a kanaáni asszonynak fia.
KJV	And the sons of Simeon; Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanitish woman.

KG	Lévi fiai pedig: Gerson, Kehát, Mérári.
KJV	And the sons of Levi; Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

KG	Júda fiai pedig: Hér, Ónán, Séla, Perec, Zerákh; de megholt vala Hér és Ónán a Kanaán földén. Perecnek fiai pedig: Khecrón és Khámul.
KJV	And the sons of Judah; Er, and Onan, and Shelah, and Pharez, and Zarah: but Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan. And the sons of Pharez were Hezron and Hamul.

KG	Izsakhár fiai pedig: Thóla, Puvah, Jób és Simrón.
KJV	And the sons of Issachar; Tola, and Phuvah, and Job, and Shimron.

KG	Zebulon fiai pedig: Szered, Élon, Jákhleél.
KJV	And the sons of Zebulun; Sered, and Elon, and Jahleel.

KG	Ezek Lea fiai, akiket szűlt vala Jákóbnak Mésopotámiában, Dínával az ő leányával együtt. Fiainak és leányainak összes száma: harminchárom lélek.
KJV	These be the sons of Leah, which she bare unto Jacob in Padanaram, with his daughter Dinah: all the souls of his sons and his daughters were thirty and three.

KG	Gád fiai pedig: Cifjon, Khaggi, Súni, Ecbón, Héri, Aródi és Areéli.
KJV	And the sons of Gad; Ziphion, and Haggi, Shuni, and Ezbon, Eri, and Arodi, and Areli.

KG	Áser fiai pedig: Jimnáh, Jisváh, Jisvi, Beriha és Szerakh az ő húgok; Berihának fiai pedig: Khéber és Málkhiel.
KJV	And the sons of Asher; Jimnah, and Ishuah, and Isui, and Beriah, and Serah their sister: and the sons of Beriah; Heber, and Malchiel.

KG	Ezek Zilpa fiai, kit Lábán adott vala Leának az ő leányának; és ő szűlé ezt a tizenhat lelket Jákóbnak.
KJV	These are the sons of Zilpah, whom Laban gave to Leah his daughter, and these she bare unto Jacob, even sixteen souls.

KG	Rákhelnek, Jákób feleségének fiai: József és Benjámin.
KJV	The sons of Rachel Jacob's wife; Joseph, and Benjamin.

KG	És születének Józsefnek Égyiptom földén Manasse és Efráim, akiket Asznáth, Potiferának, On papjának leánya szűlt néki.
KJV	And unto Joseph in the land of Egypt were born Manasseh and Ephraim, which Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On bare unto him.

KG	Benjámin fiai pedig: Bela, Bekher, Asbél, Géra, Nahamán, Ekhi, Rós, Muppim, Khuppim és Ard.
KJV	And the sons of Benjamin were Belah, and Becher, and Ashbel, Gera, and Naaman, Ehi, and Rosh, Muppim, and Huppim, and Ard.

KG	Ezek Rákhel fiai, kik születtek Jákóbnak, mindössze tizennégy lélek.
KJV	These are the sons of Rachel, which were born to Jacob: all the souls were fourteen.

KG	Dán fia pedig: Khusim.
KJV	And the sons of Dan; Hushim.

KG	Nafthali fiai pedig: Jakhceél, Gúni, Jécer és Sillém.
KJV	And the sons of Naphtali; Jahzeel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shillem.

KG	Ezek Bilha fiai, kit adott vala Lábán Rákhelnek az ő leányának; és ezeket szűlte Jákóbnak, mindössze hét lelket.
KJV	These are the sons of Bilhah, which Laban gave unto Rachel his daughter, and she bare these unto Jacob: all the souls were seven.

KG	Valamennyi Jákóbbal Égyiptomba jött lélek, kik az ő ágyékából származtak, a Jákób fiainak feleségeit nem számítva, mindössze hatvanhat lélek.
KJV	All the souls that came with Jacob into Egypt, which came out of his loins, besides Jacob's sons' wives, all the souls were threescore and six;

KG	József fiai pedig, kik Égyiptomban születtek, két lélek. Jákób egész házanépe, mely Égyiptomba ment vala, hetven lélek.
KJV	And the sons of Joseph, which were born him in Egypt, were two souls: all the souls of the house of Jacob, which came into Egypt, were threescore and ten.

KG	Júdát pedig elküldé maga előtt Józsefhez, hogy útmutatója legyen Gósen felé. És eljutának Gósen földére.
KJV	And he sent Judah before him unto Joseph, to direct his face unto Goshen; and they came into the land of Goshen.

KG	És befogata József az ő szekerébe, és eleibe méne Izráelnek az ő atyjának Gósenbe; s amint maga előtt látá, nyakába borula, és síra az ő nyakán sok ideig.
KJV	And Joseph made ready his chariot, and went up to meet Israel his father, to Goshen, and presented himself unto him; and he fell on his neck, and wept on his neck a good while.

KG	És monda Izráel Józsefnek: Immár örömest meghalok, minekutána láttam a te orcádat, hogy még élsz.
KJV	And Israel said unto Joseph, Now let me die, since I have seen thy face, because thou art yet alive.

KG	József pedig monda az ő testvéreinek, és az ő atyja házanépének: Felmegyek és tudtára adom a Faraónak, és ezt mondom néki: Az én testvéreim és atyám háznépe, kik Kanaán földén valának, eljöttek én hozzám.
KJV	And Joseph said unto his brethren, and unto his father's house, I will go up, and show Pharaoh, and say unto him, My brethren, and my father's house, which were in the land of Canaan, are come unto me;

KG	Azok az emberek pedig juhpásztorok, mert baromtartó nép valának, és juhaikat, barmaikat, és mindenöket valamijök van, elhozták.
KJV	And the men are shepherds, for their trade hath been to feed cattle; and they have brought their flocks, and their herds, and all that they have.

KG	S ha majd a Faraó hivat titeket és azt kérdi: Mi a ti életmódotok?
KJV	And it shall come to pass, when Pharaoh shall call you, and shall say, What is your occupation?

KG	Azt mondjátok: Baromtartó emberek voltak a te szolgáid gyermekségünktől fogva mind ez ideig, mi is, mint a mi atyáink, hogy lakhassatok Gósen földén; mert minden juhpásztor utálatos az Égyiptombeliek előtt.
KJV	That ye shall say, Thy servants' trade hath been about cattle from our youth even until now, both we, and also our fathers: that ye may dwell in the land of Goshen; for every shepherd is an abomination unto the Egyptians.
