KG	A Séba királynéasszonya pedig hallván Salamon hírét, eljöve, hogy megkisértse Salamont nehéz kérdésekkel, Jeruzsálembe, igen nagy sereggel és tevékkel, amelyek hoznak vala fűszereket, igen sok aranyat és drágaköveket; és Salamonhoz méne, és beszélt vele mindenekről, amelyek szívén voltak.
KJV	And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to prove Solomon with hard questions at Jerusalem, with a very great company, and camels that bare spices, and gold in abundance, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart.

KG	És Salamon megfelelt minden beszédeire, mert semmi sem volt Salamon elől elrejtve, amelyet meg nem mondhatott volna néki.
KJV	And Solomon told her all her questions: and there was nothing hid from Solomon which he told her not.

KG	És mikor látta Séba királynéasszonya Salamon bölcseségét és a házat, amelyet épített vala;
KJV	And when the queen of Sheba had seen the wisdom of Solomon, and the house that he had built,

KG	És az ő asztalának étkeit, szolgáinak lakását és hivatalnokainak állását és öltözékeiket, pohárnokait s azoknak öltözékeit, és az ő áldozatát, amelylyel az Úrnak házában áldozott: a lélekzete is elállott.
KJV	And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel; his cupbearers also, and their apparel; and his ascent by which he went up into the house of the LORD; there was no more spirit in her.

KG	És monda a királynak: Mind igaz volt, amit hallottam volt az én lakóföldemben a te dolgaidról és bölcseségedről;
KJV	And she said to the king, It was a true report which I heard in mine own land of thine acts, and of thy wisdom:

KG	De hinni sem akartam azoknak beszédeit, míg én magam el nem jöttem és szemeimmel nem láttam. És ímé nékem a felét sem beszélték el a te bölcseséged nagyságának; felülmúltad a hírt, amelyet hallottam.
KJV	Howbeit I believed not their words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the one half of the greatness of thy wisdom was not told me: for thou exceedest the fame that I heard.

KG	Boldogok a te embereid és boldogok ezek a te szolgáid, akik szüntelen udvarlanak néked, hogy hallhatják a te bölcseségedet!
KJV	Happy are thy men, and happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and hear thy wisdom.

KG	Legyen az Úr, a te Istened áldott, aki téged annyira szeretett, hogy az ő székébe helyezett, hogy lennél az Úrnak, a te Istenednek királya; mivel a te Istened szerette Izráelt, hogy megerősítse őt mindörökké, azért tett téged királylyá felettök, hogy szolgáltass ítéletet és igazságot.
KJV	Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee to set thee on his throne, to be king for the LORD thy God: because thy God loved Israel, to establish them for ever, therefore made he thee king over them, to do judgment and justice.

KG	És ada a királynak százhúsz tálentom aranyat és felette sok fűszerszámot és drágaköveket. Nem is volt több olyan fűszerszám, mint amilyet Séba királynéasszonya ada Salamon királynak.
KJV	And she gave the king an hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices great abundance, and precious stones: neither was there any such spice as the queen of Sheba gave king Solomon.

KG	És Hirám szolgái is és Salamon szolgái is, akik hoztak vala aranyat Ofirból; hoztak ébenfát és drágaköveket is.
KJV	And the servants also of Huram, and the servants of Solomon, which brought gold from Ophir, brought algum trees and precious stones.

KG	És csinála a király az ébenfából lépcsőket az Úr házába és a király házába, s citerákat és lantokat az éneklőknek. Ezekhez hasonlókat nem láttak azelőtt Júda országában.
KJV	And the king made of the algum trees terraces to the house of the LORD, and to the king's palace, and harps and psalteries for singers: and there were none such seen before in the land of Judah.

KG	Salamon király pedig ada a Séba királynéasszonyának mindent, amit csak kivánt és kért tőle, azonkivül, amit ő a királynak hozott. Azután megtére és méne az ő földébe mind ő, mind az ő szolgái.
KJV	And king Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all her desire, whatsoever she asked, beside that which she had brought unto the king. So she turned, and went away to her own land, she and her servants.

KG	Vala pedig mértéke az aranynak, amely esztendőnként bejő vala Salamonnak, hatszázhatvanhat tálentom arany,
KJV	Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred and threescore and six talents of gold;

KG	Azonkivül, amit hoznak vala a kalmárok és kereskedők; de még Arábia minden királyai és annak a földnek fejedelmei és hoznak vala aranyat és ezüstöt Salamonnak.
KJV	Beside that which chapmen and merchants brought. And all the kings of Arabia and governors of the country brought gold and silver to Solomon.

KG	És csináltata Salamon király kétszáz paizst vert aranyból, mindenik paizsra hatszáz vert arany siklus ment fel.
KJV	And king Solomon made two hundred targets of beaten gold: six hundred shekels of beaten gold went to one target.

KG	Háromszáz kerek paizst is vert aranyból; mindenik paizsra háromszáz arany siklus megy vala, amelyeket a király helyeztete a Libánon erdejének házába.
KJV	And three hundred shields made he of beaten gold: three hundred shekels of gold went to one shield. And the king put them in the house of the forest of Lebanon.

KG	És csináltatott a király egy nagy királyiszéket elefántcsontból, és beboríttatá azt finom aranynyal.
KJV	Moreover the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with pure gold.

KG	Hat lépcsője volt a széknek, és arany zsámolya a székhez erősítve, és támaszai valának mindkét felől az ülés mellett, és két oroszlán állott a karok mellett.
KJV	And there were six steps to the throne, with a footstool of gold, which were fastened to the throne, and stays on each side of the sitting place, and two lions standing by the stays:

KG	És tizenkét oroszlán áll vala ott a hat lépcsőn mindkét felől. Senki soha olyant nem csinált egyetlen országban sem.
KJV	And twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps. There was not the like made in any kingdom.

KG	És Salamon királynak összes ivóedényei aranyból valának; a Libánon erdő házának is összes edényei tiszta aranyból valának; nem vala az ezüstnek semmi becse a Salamon idejében;
KJV	And all the drinking vessels of king Solomon were of gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon were of pure gold: none were of silver; it was not any thing accounted of in the days of Solomon.

KG	Mert hajói voltak a királynak, amelyek Társisba jártak a Hirám szolgáival együtt. Minden három esztendőben egyszer menének a hajók Társisba, honnan aranyat, ezüstöt, elefántcsontot, majmokat és pávákat hoznak vala.
KJV	For the king's ships went to Tarshish with the servants of Huram: every three years once came the ships of Tarshish bringing gold, and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks.

KG	És felülmúlta Salamon király e földnek minden királyait gazdagságban és bölcseségben.
KJV	And king Solomon passed all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom.

KG	És e földnek minden királyai kivánnak vala szembe lenni Salamonnal, hogy hallhatnák az ő bölcseségét, amelyet Isten adott vala az ő szívébe.
KJV	And all the kings of the earth sought the presence of Solomon, to hear his wisdom, that God had put in his heart.

KG	És azok mindnyájan ajándékot visznek vala néki, arany és ezüst edényeket, ruhákat, fegyvert, fűszerszámokat, lovakat és öszvéreket esztendőnként.
KJV	And they brought every man his present, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and raiment, harness, and spices, horses, and mules, a rate year by year.

KG	És Salamonnak négyezer lóistállói, szekerei és tizenkétezer lovagjai valának, akiket helyheztete a szekerek városaiba és a király mellé Jeruzsálemben.
KJV	And Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen; whom he bestowed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem.

KG	És uralkodó vala minden király felett az Eufrátes folyóvíztől a Filiszteusok földéig és az Égyiptom határáig.
KJV	And he reigned over all the kings from the river even unto the land of the Philistines, and to the border of Egypt.

KG	És a király Jeruzsálemben olyanná tevé az ezüstöt, mint a köveket, és a cédrusfákat úgy elszaporítá, mint a vad fügefákat, amelyek nevekednek a mezőségen bőséggel.
KJV	And the king made silver in Jerusalem as stones, and cedar trees made he as the sycamore trees that are in the low plains in abundance.

KG	Hordnak vala pedig Salamonnak lovakat Égyiptomból és minden országból.
KJV	And they brought unto Solomon horses out of Egypt, and out of all lands.

KG	Salamonnak egyéb dolgai, úgy az elsők, mint az utolsók, avagy nem írattak-é meg a Nátán próféta könyvében, és a Silóbeli Ahija próféciájában, és Jehdó prófétának Jeroboám ellen, a Nébát fia ellen írt látásaiban?
KJV	Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, first and last, are they not written in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite, and in the visions of Iddo the seer against Jeroboam the son of Nebat?

KG	És uralkodék Salamon Jeruzsálemben az egész Izráel felett negyven esztendeig.
KJV	And Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel forty years.

KG	És elaluvék Salamon az ő atyáival egyetemben, és eltemeték őt az ő atyjának, Dávidnak városában, és uralkodék helyette az ő fia, Roboám.
KJV	And Solomon slept with his fathers, and he was buried in the city of David his father: and Rehoboam his son reigned in his stead.
