KG	És lőn, mikor elvégezte Salamon az Úr házának és a király házának építését, és mindent amit kívánt és amit akart építeni Salamon:
KJV	And it came to pass, when Solomon had finished the building of the house of the LORD, and the king's house, and all Solomon's desire which he was pleased to do,

KG	Megjelenék az Úr Salamonnak másodszor is, amiként megjelent volt néki Gibeonban.
KJV	That the LORD appeared to Solomon the second time, as he had appeared unto him at Gibeon.

KG	És monda néki az Úr: Meghallgattam a te imádságodat és könyörgésedet, amelylyel könyörgöttél előttem: Megszenteltem e házat, amelyet építettél, abba helyheztetvén az én nevemet mindörökké, és ott lesznek az én szemeim, és az én szívem mindenkor.
KJV	And the LORD said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.

KG	És ha te előttem járándasz, amint járt Dávid, a te atyád, egyenes és tökéletes szívvel, úgy cselekedvén mindenekben, amint néked megparancsoltam, az én rendelésimet és végzésimet megtartándod;
KJV	And if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments:

KG	Megerősítem a te birodalmadnak trónját az Izráelen mindörökké, amint megígértem volt Dávidnak a te atyádnak, mondván: Nem fogy el a te nemzetségedből való férfiú az Izráel királyi székéből.
KJV	Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel.

KG	De hogyha elszakadtok ti és a ti fiaitok én tőlem, és meg nem őrizénditek az én parancsolatimat és végzéseimet, melyeket előtökbe adtam; hanem elmentek, és idegen isteneknek szolgáltok, és meghajoltok azok előtt:
KJV	But if ye shall at all turn from following me, ye or your children, and will not keep my commandments and my statutes which I have set before you, but go and serve other gods, and worship them:

KG	Kigyomlálom az Izráelt e föld színéről, amelyet nékik adtam; e házat, melyet az én nevemnek szenteltem, elvetem szemeim elől, és az Izráel példabeszédül és meséül lészen minden nép előtt.
KJV	Then will I cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have hallowed for my name, will I cast out of my sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all people:

KG	És bár e ház felséges, mégis akik elmennek mellette, elcsodálkoznak, felkiáltanak, és azt mondják: Miért cselekedett így az Úr ezzel a földdel és ezzel a házzal?
KJV	And at this house, which is high, every one that passeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss; and they shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and to this house?

KG	És azt felelik: Azért, mert elhagyták az Urat, az ő Istenöket, aki az ő atyáikat kihozta volt Égyiptom földéből, és idegen istenekhez ragaszkodtak, és azokat imádták, és azoknak szolgáltak: ezért bocsátá ő reájok az Úr mind ezt a nyomorúságot.
KJV	And they shall answer, Because they forsook the LORD their God, who brought forth their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and have taken hold upon other gods, and have worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath the LORD brought upon them all this evil.

KG	És lőn a húsz esztendő végén, a mialatt Salamon a két házat, az Úr házát és a király házát megépíté,
KJV	And it came to pass at the end of twenty years, when Solomon had built the two houses, the house of the LORD, and the king's house,

KG	Amelyekhez Hírám, Tírus királya adott volt ajándékban Salamonnak cédrusfákat, fenyőfákat, aranyat egész kivánsága szerint: ada Salamon király Hírámnak húsz várost Galileának földén.
KJV	(Now Hiram the king of Tyre had furnished Solomon with cedar trees and fir trees, and with gold, according to all his desire,) that then king Solomon gave Hiram twenty cities in the land of Galilee.

KG	És kiméne Hírám Tírusból, hogy megnézze azokat a városokat, amelyeket Salamon néki ada, de nem tetszettek azok néki.
KJV	And Hiram came out from Tyre to see the cities which Solomon had given him; and they pleased him not.

KG	És monda: Miféle városok ezek, atyámfia, amelyeket nékem adtál? És Kábul földnek nevezé azokat mind e mai napig.
KJV	And he said, What cities are these which thou hast given me, my brother? And he called them the land of Cabul unto this day.

KG	Küldött vala pedig Hírám a királynak százhúsz tálentom aranyat.
KJV	And Hiram sent to the king sixscore talents of gold.

KG	És ez az összege annak az adónak is, amelyet kivetett volt Salamon király, hogy megépíthesse az Úr házát, és a maga házát, és Millót, és Jeruzsálem kőfalait, és Khácort, Megiddót és Gézert.
KJV	And this is the reason of the levy which king Solomon raised; for to build the house of the LORD, and his own house, and Millo, and the wall of Jerusalem, and Hazor, and Megiddo, and Gezer.

KG	Mert a Faraó, Égyiptom királya, feljött volt, és meghódítá Gézert, és felégette tűzzel, és a Kananeusokat, akik a városban laktak, megölte, és adá azt ajándékban az ő leányának, a Salamon feleségének.
KJV	For Pharaoh king of Egypt had gone up, and taken Gezer, and burnt it with fire, and slain the Canaanites that dwelt in the city, and given it for a present unto his daughter, Solomon's wife.

KG	És megépíté Salamon Gézert és az alsó Bethoront;
KJV	And Solomon built Gezer, and Bethhoron the nether,

KG	Bahalátot és Thadmort a pusztában, azon a földön;
KJV	And Baalath, and Tadmor in the wilderness, in the land,

KG	És a tárházak minden városait, amelyek a Salamonéi valának, a szekerek városait, és a lovagok városait, és mindeneket, amelyeknek építéséhez Salamonnak kedve volt Jeruzsálemben és a Libánonon, és az ő birodalmának egész földén.
KJV	And all the cities of store that Solomon had, and cities for his chariots, and cities for his horsemen, and that which Solomon desired to build in Jerusalem, and in Lebanon, and in all the land of his dominion.

KG	És mindazt a népet, amely megmaradott volt az Emoreusoktól, Hitteusoktól, Perizeusoktól, Hivveusoktól, Jebuzeusoktól, akik nem valának az Izráel fiai közül.
KJV	And all the people that were left of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites, which were not of the children of Israel,

KG	Azoknak fiait, akik ő utánok azon a földön maradtak volt, akiket az Izráeliták ki nem irthattak, Salamon jobbágyokká tette mind e mai napig.
KJV	Their children that were left after them in the land, whom the children of Israel also were not able utterly to destroy, upon those did Solomon levy a tribute of bondservice unto this day.

KG	De az Izráel fiai közül senkit nem vetett Salamon szolgálat alá, hanem ezek hadakozó férfiak voltak és ő szolgái és főemberei és hadnagyai és az ő szekereinek és lovagjainak fejei.
KJV	But of the children of Israel did Solomon make no bondmen: but they were men of war, and his servants, and his princes, and his captains, and rulers of his chariots, and his horsemen.

KG	És a hivatalnokoknak, akik Salamon munkáinak élén állottak, száma ötszázötven volt, akik igazgatták a népet, amely dolgozott a munkán.
KJV	These were the chief of the officers that were over Solomon's work, five hundred and fifty, which bare rule over the people that wrought in the work.

KJV	But Pharaoh's daughter came up out of the city of David unto her house which Solomon had built for her: then did he build Millo.

KG	És áldozék Salamon minden esztendőben háromszor, égő és hálaáldozatot azon az oltáron, amelyet épített vala az Úrnak, és áldozik vala jóillattal azon, amely az Úr előtt vala. És elvégezé a házat.
KJV	And three times in a year did Solomon offer burnt offerings and peace offerings upon the altar which he built unto the LORD, and he burnt incense upon the altar that was before the LORD. So he finished the house.

KG	És hajókat is csináltata Salamon király Esiongáberben, amely Elót mellett van a Veres tenger partján, az Edom földén.
KJV	And king Solomon made a navy of ships in Eziongeber, which is beside Eloth, on the shore of the Red sea, in the land of Edom.

KG	És elküldé Hírám az ő szolgáit a hajókon, akik jó hajósok és a tengeren jártasak valának, a Salamon szolgáival.
KJV	And Hiram sent in the navy his servants, shipmen that had knowledge of the sea, with the servants of Solomon.

KG	És egész Ofirig menének, és hozának onnét négyszázhúsz tálentom aranyat, és vivék azt Salamon királyhoz.
KJV	And they came to Ophir, and fetched from thence gold, four hundred and twenty talents, and brought it to king Solomon.
