KJV	Now after this it came to pass, that David smote the Philistines, and subdued them, and took Gath and her towns out of the hand of the Philistines.

KG	A Moábitákat is megveré; és a Moábiták Dávidnak adófizető szolgái lettek.
KJV	And he smote Moab; and the Moabites became David's servants, and brought gifts.

KG	Továbbá megveré Dávid Hámátban Hadadézert is, Sóbának királyát, mikor elindult vala, hogy az Eufrátes folyóvízig vesse birodalmának határát.
KJV	And David smote Hadarezer king of Zobah unto Hamath, as he went to stablish his dominion by the river Euphrates.

KG	Dávid pedig nyere ő tőle ezer szekeret és hétezer lovast és húszezer gyalogost; és minden szekeres lovaknak inait elvagdaltatá Dávid, és csak száz szekérbe valót tarta meg azokból.
KJV	And David took from him a thousand chariots, and seven thousand horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen: David also houghed all the chariot horses, but reserved of them an hundred chariots.

KG	És mikor eljövének Damaskusból a Siriabeliek, hogy megsegéllenék Hadadézert, a Sóba királyát: levága Dávid a Siriabeliek közül huszonkétezer férfit.
KJV	And when the Syrians of Damascus came to help Hadarezer king of Zobah, David slew of the Syrians two and twenty thousand men.

KG	És rendele Dávid tiszttartókat Siriában, ahol Damaskus van; és lettek a Siriabeliek Dávidnak adófizető szolgái. És megsegíté az Úr Dávidot mindenütt, amerre csak ment.
KJV	Then David put garrisons in Syriadamascus; and the Syrians became David's servants, and brought gifts. Thus the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.

KG	És vevé Dávid az arany paizsokat, amelyeket a Hadadézer szolgái viselének, és vivé Jeruzsálembe.
KJV	And David took the shields of gold that were on the servants of Hadarezer, and brought them to Jerusalem.

KG	És hoza Dávid Tibhátból és Kúnból, a Hadadézer városaiból igen sok rezet. Abból csinálá Salamon a réztengert, az oszlopokat és a rézedényeket.
KJV	Likewise from Tibhath, and from Chun, cities of Hadarezer, brought David very much brass, wherewith Solomon made the brazen sea, and the pillars, and the vessels of brass.

KG	Mikor meghallotta volna pedig Tóhu, a Hamáthbeli király, hogy Dávid megverte Hadadézernek, a Sóba királyának egész hadát:
KJV	Now when Tou king of Hamath heard how David had smitten all the host of Hadarezer king of Zobah;

KG	Küldé Dávid királyhoz az ő fiát, Hadorámot, hogy köszöntené őt és megáldaná, mivelhogy megharcolt vala Hadadézerrel és megverte vala őt; mert Tóhu is hadakozik Hadadézer ellen. És külde Dávidnak sok arany, ezüst és rézedényt,
KJV	He sent Hadoram his son to king David, to enquire of his welfare, and to congratulate him, because he had fought against Hadarezer, and smitten him; (for Hadarezer had war with Tou;) and with him all manner of vessels of gold and silver and brass.

KG	És Dávid király ezeket is az Úrnak szentelé, az ezüsttel és az aranynyal együtt, amelyet nyert vala minden pogányoktól, az Edomitáktól, a Moábitáktól, az Ammon fiaitól, a Filiszteusoktól és Amálekitáktól.
KJV	Them also king David dedicated unto the LORD, with the silver and the gold that he brought from all these nations; from Edom, and from Moab, and from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines, and from Amalek.

KG	Abisai pedig, a Séruja fia, az Edomiták közül a Sónak völgyében megvere tizennyolcezeret.
KJV	Moreover Abishai the son of Zeruiah slew of the Edomites in the valley of salt eighteen thousand.

KG	És rendele Edomban Dávid tiszttartókat, és lettek az Edombeliek mind Dávidnak szolgái. És megsegíté az Úr Dávidot mindenütt, amerre csak ment.
KJV	And he put garrisons in Edom; and all the Edomites became David's servants. Thus the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.

KG	Így uralkodék Dávid az egész Izráel felett, és ítéletet és igazságot szolgáltat vala egész népének.
KJV	So David reigned over all Israel, and executed judgment and justice among all his people.

KG	Joáb pedig, Séruja fia, a sereg előljárója volt, Jósafát, az Ahilud fia pedig emlékíró.
KJV	And Joab the son of Zeruiah was over the host; and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud, recorder.

KG	Sádók, az Akhitub fia és Abimélek, az Abjátár fia, voltak a papok; Sausa az íródeák.
KJV	And Zadok the son of Ahitub, and Abimelech the son of Abiathar, were the priests; and Shavsha was scribe;

KG	És Benája, a Jójada fia, a Kereteusok és Peleteusok előljárója volt; a Dávid fiai pedig elsők a király mellett.
KJV	And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and the sons of David were chief about the king.
